Each new student is required to pay a one-time $25.00 registration fee.
Pop Star Singing Class
Ages 8-18
Students will choose which song they want to sing out of 100s of songs from Hannah Montana to Justin Beiber. Kids will learn how to stand up on stage, hold a microphone and move to the music and perform like a pop star. They will learn how to sing-a-long with popular hit songs and also, how to sing along with piano accompaniment. The parents can watch kids perform on the studio’s TV. This class is lots of fun and is very popular.
Classes are 6 Saturdays.
Fee $100.00
Class limited to 5 each session.
Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 – Class is ongoing and you can sign up at anytime, as long as there is an opening. Call to find out.
Shining Star Musical Theater Class
Ages 9-15
Students will choose the play they want to work on for 6 Saturdays. Each class will focus on different aspects of producing a play, including costumes, make-up, stage movement, directing, design, and staging. Students will perform on several different scenes from the play on each session. The teacher will help them learn how to be expressive on stage, interact with other actors on stage and much more. The teacher will also video tape a skit so the students can watch themselves perform on the studio’s TV. There will be a short presentation the last day of class that parents can attend.
Classes are 6 Fridays

Lil Star Musical Theater Class
Ages 4-8
Students will put their heads together as they take themes and characters from their favorite fairy tales and twist them into a new magical, musical story. Everyone is requested to wear their favorite “fairy or princess dress” or “cowboy” or “hero” costume to class. The students with guidance from Sarah, our Musical Theater teacher, will perform a little skit and learn how to move on stage and be expressive and how to interact with other actors on stage. There will be a short presentation the last day of class. Different authors and books will be used each session. Class limited to 6 each session.

Introduction to Theater Acting
Ages 7-13 This is a great class for the want-to-be actor! Students will work on a series of scenes or skits for the stage that focus on movement and character development. There’s also some great games and activities thrown into the mix. Kids learn how to think on their feet, focus and articulate. How to do ensemble work and create on the spot. How to make their character stand out, picking an audition song and dance moves. How to develop essential performance skills, that will carry you from one audition to the next.

Intermediate Theater Acting
Ages 7-13 This class is for the young actor who has had some stage experience or have taken the beginning class and are familiar with the language of theater. Topics covered will include character development, stage movement, conflict resolution and tips on memorization, as well as improvisation, story-telling and theater games. Students begin to develop a self-confidence that will stay with them where ever they go. This class is lots of fun and is a great way to improve your skills.
