Monday through Friday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Who can sign up for lessons?
We provide lessons for all ages and all experience levels.
How much are lessons?
Pricing varies depending on the experience level of the teacher. Our teachers that have 1 year of teaching experience are $15.00 per 30-minute lesson and our senior teachers, who have over 2 plus years of teaching experience are $25 per 30-minute lesson.
Who do I pay for lessons?
You will always pay the teacher. Each teacher has their own payment policy. Music Time does not accept payment on their behalf.
How do I cancel a lesson?
Contact your teacher as soon as you know. They will reschedule your lesson, per their policy.
Do you have a teacher that will travel to my home?
Yes, some of our teachers do. They do charge an additional trip fee.
Can I bring my other children?
Yes, you can. We have provided building blocks and videos to entertain your child(ren) while they are waiting for their sibling. We ask that you keep your child(ren) near you and that you do not let toddlers wander throughout the studio unescorted, including the restroom. If you are attending your own lesson, we ask that you do not bring your child(ren) unless you provide additional adult supervision.
Can I be in the studio while my child is being taught?
Yes, you can. There is enough room for your child, teacher and a family member. Please do not bring your child’s sibling(s) into the studio spaces as it will be distracting to the teacher and your child, unless prior arrangements have been made with your teacher. It is best if you sit with your other children during the lesson. They can play video games, like “Guitar Hero” or color or play with the building blocks.
Why do you have two TV’s on the wall at the studio?
One of them is being used as a close circuit TV that allows you to watch your child while the lesson is going on. The other one is a TV that you can sit back and watch. One or both should already be on, but if they aren’t just ask the teacher to turn it on for you.
Can I talk to my child’s teacher?
Teachers welcome questions and will provide help for you or your child in between lessons. Please be aware that many teachers have lessons back to back. If you wish to have an extensive conversation with your teacher, it is best to contact them outside of lesson hours. Your teacher will inform you the best time and method for you to contact them.
Can my family watch me or my child’s lessons?
Prior arrangements should be made with your teacher. Music Time will hold recitals from time to time where you can bring family and friends to watch you or your child and other students play together. We are in development of sponsoring a talent show that students can participate in and we also have Rock Time lessons, where those students perform rock music for the event.
